I don't like going to gym - Al Nassr's Cristiano Ronaldo rubbishes claim he is a product of just hard work

Cristiano Ronaldo believes nobody enjoys being at the gym every day as he continues to work hard to maintain is form and status at Al Nassr.

Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted even he doesn't enjoy going to the gym every day as he opened up on the relentless dedication required to stay at the top.

The 39-year-old Al-Nassr striker is renowned for his supremely professional attitude and incredible work ethic throughout his career.

While his natural talent is undoubted, Ronaldo believes it is the combination of his ability and obsessive training regime that has allowed him to achieve so much success.

"Talent without work is nothing and work without talent is nothing. They have to work together at the same time," Ronaldo stated per Goal.

"I have both. I can't say that I have more of one than the other. Small details will make the difference."

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner acknowledges that maintaining such high standards of discipline and consistency over a prolonged period is incredibly difficult.

"Consistency is the most difficult thing. Are you willing to do that? That's the main point because everyone wants to be Cristiano, but doing it is difficult," he added.

"Discipline is the most difficult thing. I fight against my mind sometimes, we are all human beings. Of course, I don't like going to the gym every day, no one does, but you have to do it."
