Lionel Messi is set to be reunited with a former teammate from LaLiga champions FC Barcelona at MLS club Inter Miami.

Two Barcelona legends are set to be reunited at Major League Soccer, MLS, Inter Miami this summer.

Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi will play together again in the same team after the club Inter Miami announced the arrival of the former Champions League winner.

Inter took to their social media account to announce Busquets' arrival through a video on their Twitter account on Friday.

According to a post from the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Busquets has completed his move to Inter Miami as a free agent.

The 34-year-old reportedly rejected a move to Saudi Arabia where he would have made more money in favour of a sensational reunion with former teammate Messi.

The talented defensive midfielder announced his departure before the final games of the season, becoming the latest Barcelona great to call it quits at the club.
