German giants Wolfsburg will face Asisat Oshoala's Barcelona Femeni in the final of the UWCL after a dramatic 4-5 win over Arsenal in the semifinal.

German giants Wolfsburg have booked a date with Asisat Oshoala’s Barcelona in the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UWCL after a five-goal thriller on Monday night.

The brilliant Germans overcame Arsenal 3-2 after extra time in the UWCL semifinal second-leg encounter in front of 60, 063 spectators, a British record crowd at the Emirates on Monday night.

Arsenal opened the scoring through Stina Blackstenius’s 11th-minute strike but Wolfsburg hit back with two of theirs via Jill Roord before the break and super-sub Alexandra Poop in the second half.

However, Arsenal forced the game into extra time when Jennifer Beattie’s late header had the Gunners level.

But the visitors will have the last laugh when Pauline Bremer tapped into an empty net following good work from Jule Brand one minute from time

Wolfsburg to face Barcelona

Following the thrilling win over Arsenal, the seven-time German champions will now face LaLiga champions Barcelona in the UWCL final.

Barcelona, who have Nigeria Super Falcons superstar Oshoala in the books, defeated another English side Chelsea 2-1 on aggregate to reach the final.

Oshoala’s Barcelona at the weekend sealed a fourth consecutive LaLiga title and will be looking to seal a double when they take on Wolfsburg in the UWCL final in Eindhoven.
