Ahead of the highly anticipated African Cup Of Nations final clash between the Super Eagles and the Elephants of Ivory Coast, President Bola Tinubu has tasked Vice President Kashim Shettima with leading a presidential team to Ivory Coast for the crucial match on Sunday.

In a statement released by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications on X, Office of the Vice President, it was highlighted that President Tinubu's decision to send Vice President Shettima demonstrates the government's unwavering support for the Super Eagles and its commitment to their success.

"The federal government has called on all Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to unite in support of the Super Eagles and to raise their voices in encouragement, while creating a wave of national pride that propels the team to glory," the statement emphasized.

Government's Solid Backing for Super Eagles

The Vice President previously represented the President at the semi-finals, witnessing the Super Eagles' triumphant victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
