The reigning CAF Player of the Year will enter the final year of his contract with La Dea at the end of the current campaign.
And despite his improvement at the club, reports suggest that he is not ready to stay beyond this current contract, having failed to sign an extension, which might prompt Atalanta to accept a bid for him.
The Super Eagles forward has had a great time since moving to Italy, showing improvement on a season-by-season basis.
Having moved to join La Dea in 2022-23, he scored 15 goals, and in 2023-24, he netted 17. In the current campaign, Lookman has already found the net 14 times in 27 appearances.
In totality, the former Fulham forward has scored 46 goals and assisted 25 more in 106 appearances across all competitions for Atalanta, including a hat-trick in the final of the Europa League last season.
