In Game 2, Connecticut defeated Clark and Co. 87-81, with five players scoring ten or more points.
With a game-high 25 points, Clark led the Fever and all scorers, but she once again struggled to make clean shots.
In addition to her 10 of 23 overall shooting, she also had 6 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, and 9 assists.
Late in the fourth quarter, Clark made a three-pointer to give Indiana a lead.
However, the Sun quickly gained momentum and outscored the Fever in the final minutes.
With 19 points and 13 assists, Alyssa Thomas led the Sun.
Marina Mabrey scored 17 points, DeWanna Bonner scored 15, and Veronica Burton and DiJonai Carrington each contributed 10 points.
Just three Fever players scored more than ten points, with Clark leading the way with seventeen.
Kelsey Mitchell struggled with his shooting, finishing only seven of eighteen overall, while Aliyah Boston dominated in the low post with sixteen points, nineteen rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and a steal.
Minnesota Lynx destroys Phoenix Mercury
The Minnesota Lynx defeated the Phoenix Mercury 101-88 at Target Center to complete a 2-0 first-round sweep as Napheesa Collier scored 42 points, the most in a WNBA playoff game.
In addition to tying Breanna Stewart and Angel McCoughtry's league playoff record, Collier set a Lynx record, surpassing Maya Moore's 40.
Collier scored 42 points, but he wasn't the only starter to contribute to the victory—all five of them scored in double figures.
With 34 made field goals, the Lynx received 28 assists. Natisha Hiedeman led the team with seven assists off the bench, while all five starters recorded three or more assists.
Courtney Williams scored eleven, Bridget Carleton had twelve, and Alana Smith also had twelve. Kayla McBride scored fifteen.
The Minnesota Lynx will now be Connecticut's opponent in the semifinals.
The other semifinal meeting features the defending champions, the No. 4 Las Vegas Aces, and the No. 1 New York Liberty.
