Sha'Carri Richardson strikes Jamaicans again, defeats Thompson-Herah and Morrison at Zurich Diamond League
Newly crowned world's fastest woman Sha'Carri Richardson showed her supremacy in the 100m again, by defeating Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah at the Zurich Diamond League.
Richardson secured the 100m victory in the Swiss city in a convincing 10.88s - her tenth sub-10.90s and thirteenth sub-11s this season.
Jamaica's Natasha Morrison finished strongly to come in second in 11.00s, the same time as Thompson-Herah, whose was a Season's Best (SB) performance.

The American star's victory further demonstrated that her world title-winning performance in Budapest was no fluke, and she is indeed here to stay.
Furthermore, she has beaten all top Jamaican sprinters in the 100m this season, from legendary Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce to powerhouse Shericka Jackson and now Thompson-Herah.
Her supremacy over the Jamaicans means she's the only athlete to have stopped their dominance in the event since 2017, and propelled herself as the world's best female sprinter in the world after taking home 100m gold, 200m bronze, and anchoring the USA to the 4x100m gold medal at the World Championships in Budapest.
Richardson will be gunning to win her first Diamond League trophy in Oregon to cap off her phenomenal memorable year.
