Elaine Thompson-Herah began her Olympic year on a winning note with victory over two Jamaican male sprinters in a mini-speed game.

Elaine Thompson-Herah showed her speed prowess as the fastest woman alive after winning a mini-speed game against legendary Jamaican sprinter Julian Forte and Commonwealth 110m Hurdles champion Rasheed Broadbell.

At the NCB Visa Tap for Gold Launch Paris 2024 campaign with top Jamaican dignitaries present, including past Olympians and present athletes, the reigning double Olympic champion lined up against her male counterparts in a popular Lime and Spoon game.

Thompson-Herah was in the middle flanked by Broadbell to her left and Forte to her right, as she immediately moved past them at the start of the game for an easy and comic win.

This once again shows the competitive nature of the Olympic Record holder as she's always ready to win any race that has to do with showing her speed.

Having had a brilliant end to the 2023 season by regaining her form, the 31-year-old will be gunning for a historic 2024 year to defend her Olympic sprint titles for a third consecutive time, thus becoming the first female sprinter in history to achieve such a feat.
