One description of it is that it is a "280 m² mansion with three-meter ceilings, five bathrooms, and four bedrooms.” There are also common spaces, a "spa and gym," and just 11 neighbours.

According to the Olive Press: "It was designed by the prestigious architect Rafael Robledo and is regarded as one of the most exclusive residential projects in Madrid.

"The homes were sold on the basis of offering a fusion between classicism and modernity in the finishes and design. One of the purchasers is the president of the fashion giant, Inditex, Marta Ortega.

Despite being slowed down by unending injuries, pointing to possible retirement in 2024, Nadal continues to draw sponsors.

According to El Mundo, Rafael Nadal's net worth was $323.61 million in February 2023. Alongside NBA player Steph Curry, he recently secured a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with Subway, which might help him hit the $350 million milestone by the end of this year.  Furthermore, Forbes estimates that Nadal's total earnings, after taxes and other deductions, are easily between $500 and 550 million.

Among the brands in his portfolio are Nike, Babolat, Kia Motors, Santander, Emporio Armani, Richard Mille, Tommy Hilfiger, and Telefonica, many of which have sponsored him since he started his professional career on the ATP Tour. He is currently the most well-known and senior tennis player employed by Nike, with an annual salary of reportedly $10 million guaranteed.

Why is Rafael Nadal not playing?

The 22-time Grand Slam champion was hampered by injury throughout 2023 before his long-awaited return in Brisbane, defeating Dominic Thiem and Jason Kubler before falling in the quarterfinals to Jordan Thompson.

Nadal was billed to return to Indian Wells against Milos Raonic but withdrew on the eve of the Masters 1000 event, days after facing Carlos Alcaraz in an exhibition match dubbed the “Netflix Slam” in Las Vegas.

The tennis great is also not competing at the soon-to-commence Miami Open, with observers expecting the Spaniard’s return at the Monte Carlo Masters in April.
