Amid speculation linking him to a number of jobs in South Africa such as Mamelodi Sundowns and even Kaizer Chiefs, veteran coach Pitso Mosimane continues to enjoy his time off football management.

Part of his time off has been dedicated to his Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools but he is also closely following the football development of his son Reatlegile who plays for the Chiefs U15 side.

That has seen him make a number of trips to Chiefs’ base in Naturena, leading to speculation that he could be one of the names being considered for the coaching job.

Mosimane was again spotted at the Chiefs base last weekend and took time to share some career-changing advice to one of the youngsters honing their skills at the club.

Mosimane Advices Chiefs Academy Star

“If you love the game, you have got to be consistent and you have to make sure your preparation is always on top,” Mosimane told the Chiefs academy star.

“Preparation leads to the game. Preparation is what you do before the match. It is not what you do in the match. Your preparation is the match.”

With Reatlegile, who plays as a striker, continuing his development at Chiefs, it looks like Moismane will be spotted more at Naturena although the youngster could secure a move overseas as he is reported to be attracting interest from Italy.

Mosimane was heavily linked with a return to his former club Mamelodi Sundowns in January with reports saying talks were at an advanced stage, but a deal is yet to materialise.

It remains to be seen where the 61-year-old will end up given Chiefs will also be looking for a coach at the end of the season as the contracts of current co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef come to an end in June.
