Victor Osimhen is set to be available for Galatasaray's crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.

Osimhen returned to Turkey, fresh from helping the Super Eagles secure a bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Despite the grueling tournament schedule, Buruk revealed that Osimhen bypassed any extended rest to rejoin his teammates on the training pitch.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Buruk was full of praise for the striker's elite mentality and dedication to the club's European ambitions.

“Osimhen came to the team yesterday and trained with the group. He clearly showed that he wanted to be here and was very focused,” Buruk stated.

“Having more players back in the team really lifts everyone’s spirits, including mine,” he added.

Osimhen scored 12 goals in 16 appearances for Galatasaray this season, before heading off to AFCON where he scored 4 goals for the Super Eagles.
