Transfer News: PSG line up €40 million move for Chevalier as Donnarumma replacement
Donnarumma helped his team win their first UEFA Champions League title last season and also led them to the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Italian international has been linked with a move to Turkish side Galatasaray during this transfer window.
PSG find replacement for Donnarumma
According to L'Équipe, via Abola, the Parisians, winners of last season's UEFA Champions League, intend to bolster their goalkeeping ranks with Lille's Lucas Chevalier and are poised to begin negotiations.
The same source adds that an agreement between Chevalier and PSG is already in place.
PSG's management will now attempt to strike a deal with Lille, but L'Équipe suggests a fee of at least €40 million will be required to secure the goalkeeper.
Lille acknowledges the possibility of Chevalier's departure and is actively searching for a replacement. Chevalier has been with Lille since his youth academy days and made 48 appearances last season.
