Roy Keane suggests Man City win could be a blow for Arsenal
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane emphasized that the mental impact of City’s late show could be more damaging to the Gunners than the points themselves.
"Manchester City won more than three points today," Keane stated. "Psychologically, it’s a big lift. To go to Anfield, be behind with fifteen minutes to go, and still find a way to win—that sends a message.
"It’s a bit of a hammer blow for Arsenal. They would have been sitting at home hoping City would finally drop off, but this result proves they aren't going anywhere."
Keane added that while Arsenal still hold the advantage, City's first win at a full Anfield since 2003 marks a shift in momentum.
"You saw the hunger in City today. They knew if they lost, the race was likely over. Now, the pressure is squarely back on Mikel Arteta's shoulders."
