Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce features in Essence magazine issue celebrating Black Women in Sports
Five-time world 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is featured in the world-renowned Essence magazine for the Jan/Feb issue, celebrating Black Women in Sports.
Fraser-Pryce, who is regarded as one of the greatest athletes in track and field history, will be making her fifth appearance at the Olympics if she makes the Jamaican team to Paris.
She's featured on Essence, where she had an interview with @missjabali, in which they discussed life both on and off track.
In the stunning pictures shared by Fraser-Pryce on her Instagram page to make the announcement, the 37-year-old speedster was styled in both Nike and Louis Vuitton wears for the shoot.
It isn't the first time the track queen is making the headlines for lifestyle content. In late 2023, she announced signing a multi-million dollar deal with wristwatch brand Richard Millie, joining other sporting greats such as Rafael Nadal and Mutaaz Barshim as their ambassadors.
This shows Fraser-Pryce is following the path of preparing for life after track by making her influence more recognized outside the world of athletics, as Paris will be her last appearance at the Olympics level.
