Real Madrid midfielder not on Atletico Madrid’s Radar

The Real Madrid midfielder will be a free agent in the summer and have been approached by Atletico Madrid. Reports from MARCA claimed that the Spanish club were keen on signing the midfielder and have made a second approach as they hoped to convince him to swap sides but reports suggest that Atletico Madrid have no intentions of signing Ceballos during the summer.

The 26-year-old has been instrumental for Carlo Ancelotti’s side and his performance this season has appealed to the Atletico manager. However, Atletico Madrid have claimed they are not making a move for the Spanish midfielder. 

Diego Simeone is pleased with the set of midfielders he has at his disposal with the likes of Koke, Marcos Llorente, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Pablo Barrios, Thomas Lemar, Rodrigo De Paul and Axel Witsel still in the team

Ceballos wants to stay at Real Madrid and be an integral part of the team at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, his place in the team is not guaranteed as both Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are set to be offered new contracts, 

Real Madrid are also pushing to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. So, an exit for Dani Ceballos could likely happen in the summer.
