StarTimes Uganda Premier League debutants NEC FC are close to acquiring the services of Onduparaka FC left-back Rashid Okocha.

The Onduparaka faithful has reportedly left West Nile for Kampala City, where he is having his training sessions with NEC FC.

A source intimated to Pulse Uganda Sports that his former coach, Dudu Bosco, now assistant to Hussein Mbalangu, has been vital in luring him to the Bugolobi-based football club ahead of the 2023/24 season.

NEC are reportedly offering Okocha a two-year deal.
Okocha is reportedly running out of contract at Onduparaka FC and will be a free agent before the 2023/24 season.

Okocha has been faithful to the Caterpillars, having spent the last four seasons at the club.
A mainstay in the squad since 2019, he featured 24 times last season as they suffered relegation.
