Nigeria vs Angola: Jay Jay Okocha backs Osimhen to score and Super Eagles to win

Nigerian legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha has predicted that Victor Osimhen will get on the scoresheet during the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2023 clash against Angola.

Nigeria and Angola will rekindle their rivalry when they take to the pitch in the first game of the last eight at the AFCON 2023 in Cote d’Ivoire. 

The former Nigerian legend expects to see the Napoli icon score to inspire the Eagles past the Palancas Negras.

Pulse Sports can report this following a video posted on his Instagram account hours before the potentially explosive encounter. 

“HI guys, it’s your king again,” Okocha stated in the video. “What do you think that would happen between Nigeria and Angola?”

“Place your bet on Nigeria to win and Osimhen to score,” the former PSG star stated. 

Jay Jay Okocha’s upbeat prediction will give Nigerians belief ahead of the clash with the Palancas Negras.

Osimhen has scored just one goal and assisted another in four matches so far for Nigeria at the 34th AFCON in Ivory Coast.

Nigeria defeated the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the round of 16 to book a date against Angola, which thrashed Namibia to seal a spot.
