In an on-court interview after the match, Badosa talked about how difficult the start of the year has been and working back to regain her confidence.
“It’s how I am, I’m just a fighter. This year I started very well & then the injury. I got sick, it’s been tough, so my confidence isn’t very high. The self talk is a little more negative, but I’m working on it and I hope I can start to feel the Paula I want to feel,” she said.
