Miami Open 2023: Alcaraz takes out Bagnis in style and more results from the ATP Round 2 matches
Miami Open defending champion Carlos Alcaraz began his sunshine double pursuit in style by defeating Facundo Bagnis 6-0, 6-2 to secure his third round spot.

His opening set 6-0 victory against Bagnis in Miami is his first bagel in the first set at ATP Masters 1000 level.
Alcaraz, who won the Indian Wells title a week ago, is the favourite to successfully defend his Miami Open title in the absence of Novak Djokovic.
The world No.1 will now face unseeded Lajovic in the third round.

Taylor Fritz posted his 150th career hard-court victory in Miami, cruising past wild card Emilo Nava 6-4, 6-1
Jannik Sinner heads into Round 3 easing past Laslo Djere 6-4, 6-2, while Andrey Rublev had a 7-6(3), 6-4 triumph over JJ Wolf.
By defeating Djere, Sinner won his 16th match out of 20 appearances at the Sunshine Double. Since 1990, only three other players have as many wins within their first 20 matches - Djokovic, Alcaraz, Hurkacz.
