I don't understand it — Vinicius breaks silence on treatment from Real Madrid fans
Despite a sensational performance in Tuesday’s 6-1 Champions League demolition of Monaco, the Brazilian remains at odds with a section of the Bernabéu faithful.
Vinicius was the standout performer in the rout, recording a goal and three assists, but the match began under a familiar cloud of tension.
Early in the game, every touch from the 25-year-old was met with audible whistles. This trend started in December and intensified following the club's recent Copa del Rey exit to second-tier Albacete.
Vinicius Junior opens up on Real Madrid future
Speaking to TNT Sports after the final whistle, Vinicius did not hide his emotional struggle with the situation.
🚨 Vini Jr: “It makes me very sad. I don't want to be booed at home… in the last few games, I didn't feel comfortable because whenever I did something wrong, they booed me”.

“It makes me very sad. I don’t want to be booed at home,” Vinicius said. “In the last few games, I didn't feel comfortable because whenever I did something wrong, they booed me.
The fans have their rights, they pay for expensive tickets... but I don't understand it.
“I do NOT want to be booed in my own home, where I feel comfortable. I try to give everything for this shirt and the club that has given me so much.”
The fractured relationship comes at a precarious time for the winger. Reports suggest that Vinicius recently told his inner circle, “I won’t play where they don’t want me,” sparking intense speculation about a summer exit.
While he maintains a strong bond with club president Florentino Pérez, the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and the subsequent tactical shifts have seemingly left Vinicius feeling less protected by the fanbase.
