Giannis Antetokounmpo: Nigerian Freak excited for Lionel Messi at Inter Miami

Greek-Nigerian professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo, is back among the trends on social media.

Despite being the NBA's top player, Antetokounmpo is a devoted soccer supporter. 

Giannis was one of many people who rejoiced when Inter Miami made the greatest MLS transfer ever by signing Lionel Messi for $150,000,000. 

The Bucks great recently joined Shaquille O'Neal in publicly discussing the trade, which only served to increase the excitement.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a huge soccer enthusiast, possibly the largest in the NBA, as was previously established. 

Because of this, when the signing took place, some people questioned why his response hadn't been shared on social media or in any form of interview.

The Greek Freak did, however, express his delight on Threads despite his delayed thoughts on the move.

He wrote, “I can’t wait to watch him play”
