The Cottagers have not been at their best, having lost 5-3 to Manchester City last time out, but one player stood out against the Citizens.

Samuel Chukwueze, who has been in top form, scored two goals against Pep Guardiola’s side and has two goals and two assists in the EPL this season.

However, he was unable to continue his impressive form as Palace kept him quiet in their 2-1 win against Fulham.

As it happened

Fulham made two changes to the side that narrowly lost out in that nine-goal thriller to Manchester City. Timothy Castagne replaces Ryan Sessegnon in defence, while Samuel Chukwueze's impressive performances from the bench, including two goals in midweek, have earned him a place in the starting line-up.

Crystal Palace also made two changes from their narrow win earlier this week. Daniel Munoz was the man to score the only goal in that win over Burnley, but he's missing from Oliver Glasner's squad for the game, as reported by BBC.

Just 20 minutes into the first-half, Eddie Nketiah gave the visitors the lead from a brilliant sequence of play.

Harry Wilson then drew Fulham level before the halftime break after good work by Alex Iwobi, before a one-two between Raul Jimenez and Wilson ended with the latter beating Dean Henderson with a finish with the outside of his boot.

In the second half of the game, Palace pushed for the winner and got it in the 87th minute to clinch the win.
