Liverpool have secured the future of promising young striker Josh Sonni-Lambie by signing him to his first professional contract on his 17th birthday.
Sonni-Lambie, a highly-rated talent who has progressed rapidly through the club's youth ranks, signed the contract at the AXA Training Centre.
Since joining Liverpool at the U14 level, Sonni-Lambie has made big impacts, showcasing his immense potential. He was fast-tracked to the U18s squad last season, making a memorable debut with a goal against Derby County.
This season, the young striker has continued to impress, contributing to the team's success with seven goals and multiple assists across all competitions.
He played a big role in Liverpool's dramatic U18 Premier League Cup quarter-final victory over Chelsea, providing the assist for the winning goal in stoppage time.
Sonni-Lambie joins a growing list of promising young players, including Alvin Ayman, Bailey Hall, and Jayden Danns, who have recently signed professional contracts with the club.
