Emirhan Delibas: Besiktas reportedly sack player for using dating site

Turkish club Besiktas have reportedly terminated the contract of Emirhan Delibas because the player has a profile on a dating application.

Reports of a dating profile allegedly owned by Delibas circulated the internet with a picture of the youngster and his name although with a different age. 

The Turkish youngster only recently turned 21 years old but the profile on the dating application said he is 24 years old which is potentially the main reason for his reported dismissal by the club as speculated.

The club confirmed they had parted ways with the player via an official communication on their social media platforms but neglected to mention why the decision was made.

The announcement read, "We have parted ways with professional football player Emirhan Delibaş by mutual agreement. We wish Emirhan Delibaş success in his future career and present it to the public. Regards. Besiktas JK"
