24-year-old Brazilian forward Rodrygo is reportedly unhappy with his current situation at Real Madrid, finding himself behind Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham in the pecking order.
Should he depart Real Madrid this summer, Rodrygo has picked his preferred destination. The English club are also interested, having sold Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich, however, their primary target remains Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
Tottenham have also made an enquiry for the winger, but the forward has no intention of joining Tottenham and has rejected a move.
Rodrygo decides to remain at Madrid
Arsenal also enquired about the Brazilian, according to ESPN, via GSP, but he reportedly informed the Gunners that he is not looking to leave Real Madrid this summer.
This has led the Gunners to shift their focus to Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze, for whom they are currently negotiating a deal for.
Liverpool have also shown interest in Rodrygo, but are keen on completing a move for Newcastle star Alexander Isak.
If Liverpool doesn't have the resources to meet Real Madrid's asking price, Rodrygo isn't concerned: "I'll stay in Madrid and fight for my place. It's that simple."
