Club Brugge vs Atletico Madrid: Onyedika outshines Lookman as Super Eagles stars score in six-goal thriller
Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika scored and assisted as Club Brugge held Atletico Madrid to a thrilling 3-3 draw in Belgium.
Atletico went into half-time with a two-goal lead, with Lookman in amongst the goals. Onyedika sparked the comeback, scoring first to halve the deficit, and then assisting Christos Tzolis late equaliser after Joel Ordonez own-goal seemed to have won it for the visitors.

Atlético Madrid struck first in the 8th minute when Julián Álvarez coolly converted a penalty after Joaquin Seys handled the ball in the area, sending his finish low into the bottom corner and giving the visitors an early lead.
Just before half-time, Atlético doubled their advantage as Ademola Lookman reacted quickest in the box to tap home from close range after a perfectly weighted flick-on from Antoine Griezmann, making it 2–0 and leaving Brugge with plenty to do at the interval, continuing his incredible start to the campaign.
Brugge came out with renewed belief after the break, and they were rewarded in the 51st minute when Raphael Onyedika finished smartly from close range following a corner routine to make it 2–1.
Eight minutes later, Nicolo Tresoldi grabbed the equaliser, guiding a composed finish into the bottom corner after being set up by Mamadou Diakhon to level the score at 2–2.

The drama continued late. In the 79th minute, Atlético regained the lead when a Joel Ordóñez own goal, under pressure from Sorloth in his own area, diverted the ball past his own keeper, restoring a 3–2 lead for the visitors.
Then, deep into stoppage time, Christos Tzolis struck to rescue a point for Brugge, played through by Onyedika, and fired beyond Jan Oblak in the 89th minute, earning wild celebrations and sealing a dramatic 3–3 draw.
