Awaziem took to social media to give an update on his time in Nigeria.
The defender detailed returning to the pitch to inspire young players in Enugu.
With three posts, Awaziem showed off playing with kids from his roots.
Along with the photos was a message that said, "Where it all started 🙏🏽❤️,
"Feels good to be back home and encourage the young ones, lots of talented players 👊🏽 #grassrootfootball."
In the photos, Awaziem seemed to be enjoying his time playing on a field with Sand.
He also presented his club jersey as the youngsters showed excitement at his contribution.
This comes after Awaziem won a silver medal for the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) earlier this year.
He also was invited as the Super Eagles dropped points against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Benin Republic in their last 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
