Al-Ittihad already signed Salah’s ex-teammate Fabinho this summer, as well as Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema and Chelsea icon N’Golo Kante, but are not relenting on their efforts to stack up on superstars.
According to transfer specialist David Ornstein, the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League champions are prepared to enter talks to sign Salah from Liverpool this summer.

The Egyptian forward had previously turned down a deal to Saudi Arabia earlier in the transfer window, but with more notable names like Neymar and former teammate Sadio Mane leaving Europe to join clubs in the Gulf.
Salah mulling over Liverpool exit
Salah recently became Liverpool’s all-time fifth-highest goalscorer in all competitions after notching his 187th goal for the Reds.
The Egyptian has risen to legendary status at the club since joining from AS Roma seven years ago, winning the UEFA Champions League and the club’s first-ever Premier League title, breaking several records on the way.
If Salah were to leave the club for the glorious green of Saudi Arabia, he would exit Liverpool as one of the club’s greatest players in the modern era without doubt. However, a deal is still uncertain at this stage with Liverpool unwillling to lose their best player so close to the end of the transfer window.
