According to reports emerging from Brazil, Antony, the club’s £100 million asset, has been accused of domestic violence and threatening behaviour by his former partner, Gabriela Cavallin.

This time, the accusations are leveled against one of their star players, raising concerns within the club and among supporters.
According to reports emerging from Brazil, Antony, the club’s £100 million asset, has been accused of domestic violence and threatening behaviour by his former partner, Gabriela Cavallin.
The Brazilian media outlet, Globo Esporte, revealed that Cavallin filed a police report in Sao Paulo, alleging "domestic violence, threat, and bodily injury" against the 23-year-old forward.
Details from the report indicate that Cavallin claims to have been assaulted by Antony on May 20, the same day the Brazilian international represented Manchester United in a Premier League fixture against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Globo Esporte further highlights that the police report includes "photos of abrasions and threatening messages" as evidence, with Cavallin alleging prior instances of aggressive behaviour from Antony.
Cavallin is now urging Brazilian authorities to take immediate protective measures while the investigation gathers additional evidence.
It has been revealed that Antony and Cavallin were in a relationship during 2022, with Cavallin disclosing on social media in June of that year that she had suffered a miscarriage while expecting their first child.
Both Antony and Manchester United are yet to make an official communication about the matter.
This unfortunate development follows a series of recent incidents affecting the club's reputation.
