Erica Herman, Tiger Woods’s ex-lover is demanding a sum of $30m as settlement after she parted ways with the golfer

At only 24, Tiger Woods rose to prominence after he completed a career grand slam (1997 Masters, 1999 PGA Championship, 2000 U.S. Open, 2000 Open Championship), becoming the youngest golfer to achieve such feat.

However, the first ever billion-dollar athlete is in trouble after his ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit against him.

The 38-year-old lady once worked at Tiger Woods’s restaurant before a romantic relationship between the two ex-lovers started.

However, after a fallout in their relationship, Erica Herman is threatening fire and brimstone and has set her gaze on receiving full compensation.

Pulse Sports highlights 5 reasons why the Florida native who previously worked in the restaurant industry is suing famous 15 major golf champions winner.

1. She dated him for 6 years

Erica Herman started dating Tiger Woods in 2017 before they went separate ways in October 2022, after six years together.

She supported Woods during many golf tournaments and was also there to share in his joy at the 2019 Masters.

The US Open in August 2022 was where the pair were last seen together.

2. Eviction from his Mansion

Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend claims that she was unlawfully sent packing from the Florida mansion she and the golfer used to live in.

According to Erica, an “oral agreement” was in place for her to stay there for about eleven years, but after only six years, she was thrown out of the house.

However, Tiger Woods, through his lawyers, has denied any such agreement between both parties.

Erica accused those working for Tiger Woods’ of tricking her out of the apartment in the guise of “a short vacation” they asked her to pack for.

The NewYork Post reported that on getting to the airport, “they told her she had been locked out of her residence.”

Therefore, she is demanding $30m in compensation, which she believes is the rental value of the property for the remainder of the five years she was not allowed to stay in the Florida mansion.

3. NDA controversies

When the pair started dating in 2017, Erica signed a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which stipulates that any differences between them must be settled out of courts.

Erica filed a lawsuit to have her Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the 15 time major winner voided by the courts.

Her claim is that the agreement violates the Speak Out Act, put in place to protect victims of sexual harassment.

4. NDA lawsuit thrown out

In an 11 page document, Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger threw out Erica’s application to have the NDA she signed in 2017 voided.

Judge Elizabeth Metzger called Erica’s sexual allegation against Woods “vague and threadbare.” As reported by the DailyMail, Metzger wrote,

“Herman has had the opportunity (to) provide factual specificity for any claim relating to sexual assault or sexual harassment, however, she has not done so,”

5. Sexual Harassment claims

Although Erica was once the general manager of Tiger Woods’ Jupiter restaurant, she accused the golfer of sexual harassment and assault.

According to the Speak Out Act Law, the NDA can be voided if there are proof that sexual harrassment or assult have taken place.

Under a question asking if the case involved “allegations of sexual abuse,” she checked “yes” in her filing.

However, no specific claims of assault or harassment was referenced in the court documents filed, as obtained by the NewYork Post
