Novak Djokovic was in ruthless form in his round of 16 match against Alex De Minaur, to book his spot in the quarterfinals and stay on course for his 10th Australian Open title.

Impeccable tennis from Novak Djokovic, crushing Alex De Minaur in straight sets of 6-2 6-1 6-2, to book his spot in the quarterfinals.

The Serb effortlessly won the first set 6-2, crushed De Minaur 6-1 in the second set, and sealed it with another magnificent series of play in the third set to win 6-2, in one of the most dominant performances of his career.

His victory makes it his 13th Australian Open quarterfinal and his 54th Grand Slam quarterfinal.

Also, it is his 25th consecutive match win at the Australian Open, a joint-second longest streak of men's singles wins at the tournament, behind Andre Agassi's streak of 26.

Djokovic played one of his most dominant matches against De Minaur

He will face Andrey Rublev in the round of eight, who qualified for his second Australian Open quarterfinals earlier today.

Djokovic was one of the favourites to win the title pre-tournament, but his hamstring injury issues made many doubt his chances of winning.

With his effortless play today signifying his hamstring may be better, the 21 Grand Slam surely tops the list of winning his 10th Australian Open title.
