Nigerian mixed martial artist Kennedy Nzechukwu is set to return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The 30-year-old Nzechukwu started 2022 with a loss to Romanian Nicolae Negumereanu.
He would bounce back with victories against Karl Roberson and Ion Cuțelaba in Las Vegas to end the year in style.
Following winning the Performance of the Night award in the main even of UFC Fight Night back in November, Nzechukwu is now set to get a tougher opponent.

According to several sources, Nzechukwu has been lined up to face off against American mixed martial artist Devin Clark.
The Imo State-born Nzechukwu takes on Clark who has won two of his last three fights.
The UFC 288 edition is a pay-per-view event scheduled for the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
It is set to be headlined by the UFC bantamweight championship match between Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling.
The other key fixture scheduled for UFC 288 is the lightweight clash between Beneirl Daruish and Charles Oliveira.
