The three-time African champions will be without Iwobi, Osimhen, and other key players for the game against the North American side.

Nigeria's Super Eagles will be a host of big names for their clash against Costa Rica later this month. The Super Eagles will take on Costa Rica in an international friendly match on Friday, November 10.

The match will serve as preparation for Costa Rica ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. However, they will likely face a weak Super Eagles squad, as the three-time African champions will be without their key players.

With the match set for November 10, players like Osimhen, Iwobi, and Ndidi will not be available as clubs in Europe's top five leagues play their last game before the World Cup on November 11 and 12.

Although La Liga clubs play their last league game before the World Cup on November 10, it will be impossible for Nigerian players in the league to play the international friendly encounter in the United States.

Meanwhile, Ligue 1, Premier League, and Italian Serie A players will play their last game before the World Cup on November 11 and 12.

It means the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon, and Terem Moffi will also miss the clash. This development could see the home-based players represent Nigeria in the clash against Los Ticos.

However, the three-time African champions could welcome their star players back for the international friendly match against Portugal on November 17.
