The former Roma man joined La Real last season from Almeria but was forced to miss the entire season due to an ACL injury.
However, Sadiq has since returned to full fitness and after a shaky start to the new season, the Super Eagles forward has finally shown the club and its fans what he is capable of.

A week after he scored a goal-of-the-season contender in November, the 25-year-old repeated the feat when he inspired Sociedad to a share of the spoils at Osasuna.
Showing remarkable technique, the former Almeria man used an oriented first touch to beat his marker before driving forward into space and letting fly a powerful shot from outside the box to draw Real level in the away tie.

It was a fine goal from the Super Eagles man and could be rewarded for it after earning a nomination for Goal of the Month, per a LALIGA Extra post on X.com.
However, Sadiq will have to beat off competition from two others, Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz and Alberto Ruibal of Real Betis to lay his hands on the LALIGA award.
That goal as the second of the season for Sadiq, who is slowly adapting to his new teammates after missing a whole season.
