UCL Final: Inter Coach relishes challenge against 'strongest team in the world, Man City

Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi talks up his team ahead of the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City.

Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi sang the praises of Manchester City, calling them the best team in the world, but believes his team are ready for the challenge 

The Nerrazurri face off against Pep Guardiola's side in the Champions League final tomorrow, as both teams look to close out their season in the best way possible.  

What Inzaghi said 

The Italian manager was speaking in a pre-match press conference today, ahead of the final tomorrow, when he talked about his team's sensations. 

He explained that his team feels great and are very happy to have reached this stage of the competition.

He admitted that Pep's side are the strongest team in the world, but suggested his team are not fazed and will approach the match in the best possible way. 

“It’s a great feeling to be here. We’re savouring what we’ve done,” The inter boss said.

“We don’t want to stop and if we’re here we want to play for the final in the best possible way. We all know City, it’s the strongest team in the world, but we are eleven against eleven.

“We have had a fantastic journey, we are here to play our cards. It will take a lot of heart and a lot of head.”

Also on the Champions League final, Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana has said that Manchester City will feel most of the pressure ahead of the final in Istanbul.
