The manager affirms that their focus is solely on their next game.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has stressed that his players are not distracted by the prospect of winning a quadruple.

The Carabao Cup winners defeated Barcelona in the Europa League and advanced to the FA Cup quarterfinals after beating West Ham United.

This has raised their chances of winning a season’s quadruple, but Ten Hag says they are not distracted by such a talk.

"We are not talking about that [a quadruple]," the Dutchman said, as per Sky Sport.

"We are talking about the next game, it's a big game. It's a good game, and we're really excited to play. That's for dreamers. That's for fans, it's nice, but it's not for us and the players know that.

"It's not for us, and they don't get distracted by beautiful dreams, so maybe you can dream, but we don't."

The former Ajax manager added that the Red Devils’ next step is to win a match at Anfield.

United will face Liverpool on Sunday, looking for their first away victory over the Reds since January 2016.

"That is the next step we have to make then," said the manager.

"I think also we had away from home really good performances. The pitch is the same size everywhere, there are three referees with the fourth, the ball is round, there is air in the ball. We have to play and make it our game."

"We know the ambiance will not be supporting us and we have to deal with that.

"Our players, they like it, they like to play in such atmosphere. I've been to Anfield. I'm looking forward to it, I know the atmosphere, it will be great, and it will be hostile against us, but we like it."

Liverpool have gone six games unbeaten at home against United.
