Several players are set to leave the club after it suffered relegation.

Kenyan international Sven Yidah has reportedly been released by South African side Marumo Gallants.

The former Kariobangi Sharks midfielder is among several players who have been let go following a disappointing domestic campaign that saw them eventually relegated to the second division, according to the FARPost.

Although Gallants were not impressive in the PSL, they surprisingly sailed all the way to the semi-final in the CAF Confederation Cup and were eliminated by Tanzanian champions Yanga.

Others who have reportedly left the club are Abram Ngcobo, Ayanda Nkili, Maboke Matlakala, Mahlatse Makudubela, Pule Maraisane, Sibusiso Sibeko, Sibusiso Kumalo, Sizwe Mdlinzo, and Tshepo Gumede.

Others set for exit are Joseph Molangoane, a former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Judas Moseamedi, and Mpho Mvelase. Mvelase and his teammate Letsie Koapeng are reported to be on Yanga’s radar.

After their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation, Gallants have lost Celimpilo Ngema and Lucky Mohomi, who have signed for AmaZulu and Richards Bay FC, respectively.

Royal AM have so far signed Lebogang Mabotja, as Washington Arubi is set for a move to Sekhukhune United.

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates are reportedly set to sign Katlego Otladisa and Ranga Chivaviro in what could be a large exodus from the club based in Limpopo Province.

Gallants are said to be considering releasing as many players as possible in order to recruit new ones.

The club has also ended its association with Dylan Kerr, a former Gor Mahia and Simba SC coach.
