Alexander-Arnold's Perspective on Trophies

Despite City's formidable reputation and track record of success, Alexander-Arnold believes that Liverpool's achievements resonate more deeply due to the contrasting circumstances surrounding both clubs. In an interview with Four Four Two, Alexander-Arnold acknowledged the challenge of competing against City, describing them as a "machine that's built to win." However, he emphasized that Liverpool's success carries unique significance, stemming from the club's financial situation and the manner in which they've built their team.

Haaland's Response

Haaland, Manchester City’s star forward, who scored 52 goals in 53 games in his first season with the Cityzens as they claimed a historic treble, replied to Alexander-Arnold’s comments about Liverpool’s trophies ‘meaning more’ than City’s, saying, “If he wants to say that, okay. I’ve been here one year and I’ve won the treble and it was quite a nice feeling, I don’t think he knows exactly this feeling…”, told Sky.
