The 22-year-old has become a fan favourite at Die Werkself following his move from Belgian club Royale Saint-Gilloise in the summer.

Boniface has also won the Rookie of the Month three times in a row at Bayer, earning him a maiden call-up to the Nigerian Super Eagles where he made his debut against Sao Tome and Principe.
