Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp were at loggerheads during Liverpool's clash against West Ham.

The heated exchange, caught on camera, unveiled a rift between the star winger and the Reds' manager.

Liverpool found themselves in an awkward position in the title race and lost ground on the league leaders after a draw against West Ham.

Lip reader reveals Salah’s word

According to lip reader John Cassidy, Salah's frustration boiled over when he said, "There's nothing I can do about that, nothing”, as reported by Daily Mail.

This statement came after a disagreement over how Salah shook Klopp's hand before being subbed on. While Klopp's response was obscured, it seemed he indicated Salah's readiness needed to be better.

As tensions escalated, Salah reportedly exclaimed, "I will, I will get a red card, after seven years, after seven years' service, after seven years!" It took Darwin Nunez's intervention to prevent the situation from spiralling further.

Following the incident, Salah's future at Liverpool came under scrutiny. Speculations arose about a potential summer exit with his current deal expiring in 2025.

However, despite interest from Saudi Arabia and contractual uncertainties, Liverpool remains confident in Salah's commitment.

Despite being the subject of transfer rumours, Salah's on-field performance speaks volumes, with 24 goals in 41 matches this season.
