Paul Offor bids Sporting Lagos farewell
The club took to social media to express their gratitude and well-wishes for Offor, acknowledging his pivotal role in the team's journey.
"Coach Paul brought top-flight football back to our city and gave us the first piece of silverware in our history," the club's statement read.

"Thank you for everything, Coach Paul. We wish you the very best in your future endeavours."
Why Offor was sacked
A remarkable achievement marked Offor's tenure with Sporting Lagos – guiding the Tech Boys to their first-ever NPFL promotion and winning the prestigious Naija Super 8 Competition, the club's maiden trophy.

However, the decision to part ways with Offor was not an easy one. In an official statement, the club cited the need for a change in direction for the shocking decision.
"After reviewing our performance so far this season, the Club believes it is the right time to make a change," Sporting stated.

Sporting Lagos currently sit 11th in the league table, four points above the relegation zone with eight matches remaining.
The club's supporters will undoubtedly feel a sense of gratitude and nostalgia for the coach who brought them their first taste of top-flight success.
As Sporting Lagos looks to the future, they will be forever grateful for the indelible mark left by Coach Offor, whose dedication and leadership have laid the foundation for the club's continued growth and ambition.
