It is worth noting that Tinga departs without having made an official appearance for the Kitende side, apart from participating in an international friendly against AS Kigali at Kitende over a month ago.

Vipers SC, the reigning champions of the Uganda Premier League, has decided to part ways with talented Brazilian midfielder Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo, commonly known as Tinga.

This decision comes after only two months since his arrival at the club.

Tinga's two-year contract has been terminated by mutual agreement between both parties involved.

He now joins the ranks of Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, the first Brazilian player to leave Vipers during this transfer window, who departed over a week ago.

In addition to the Brazilian duo, Ivorian forward Desire Tety also left St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, with the consent of the club.

These recent developments mark significant changes within Vipers' squad.

It is worth noting that Tinga departs without having made an official appearance for the Kitende side, apart from participating in an international friendly against AS Kigali at Kitende over a month ago.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, Vipers had placed great expectations on Tinga, particularly for their CAF Champions League campaign.

However, their aspirations were dashed in the preliminary round by Jwaneng Galaxy.

Tinga's previous football experience includes playing for renowned clubs such as Ponte Preta, Palmeiras, Ceara SC, Figueirense, Avai in Brazil, and Jubilo Iwata in Japan.

He has also represented Suphanburi FC in Thailand, Joinville SC, Santo Andre, CRB, Umm Salai SC, Vila Nova FC, Santa Cruz, Volta Redonda, Botafogo PB, and Marcilio Dias.

Despite the departure of Tinga, Vipers still boasts a formidable midfield, comprising of talented players like Marvin Joseph Youngman, Nzau Lutumba, David Bagoole, Karim Watambala, Siraje Ssentamu, and many others. The club remains dedicated to its pursuit of success.
