The 24-year-old was the only new player named in the list released on Thursday night ahead of next week's clashes.
Nigeria Super Eagles will host Lesotho in Uyo on November 15th before taking on Zimbabwe on the road three days later as the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA gets underway.
Tella, who was born in England, declared his intention to represent Nigeria rather than England earlier this year and will now get his chance to wear the famous green and white.
The Pulse Sports 30 star joined German side Bayer Leverkusen, where he plays with soon-to-be new national teammate Victor Boniface, in the summer.
