Manchester United could be the biggest beneficiaries of Victor Osimhen's move to Saudi Arabia
After a transfer saga that felt like it would never end, Victor Osimhen is finally on the verge of a big-money switch to Al Hilal.
And now that Napoli is set to cash in on their star striker, the club already has its eyes on a high-profile way to spend Osimhen’s transfer fee.
Osimhen, Napoli set for Saudi payday
Napoli and Al Hilal have reportedly agreed on the €75 million release clause for Victor Osimhen, finally unlocking the Nigerian’s path out of Serie A.

After being loaned out to Galatasaray due to a lack of suitors willing to meet Napoli’s original valuation last summer, Osimhen lit up the Turkish league with 37 goals and 8 assists in just 41 appearances.
That eye-watering form, paired with Al Hilal’s persistence and Simone Inzaghi’s personal push for the player, has now led to a major breakthrough.
Osimhen is set to earn between €30–40 million annually, plus bonuses that could tack on another €5 million.
For Napoli, it’s a bittersweet goodbye to one of their most prized assets, but with a hefty cheque incoming, the Serie A giants are already plotting their next move.
Napoli reignite Garnacho pursuit as United open door to exit
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho was already on Napoli’s radar back in January after being left out of multiple matchday squads by Ruben Amorim.
At the time, a bloated €90 million asking price froze negotiations cold, despite Antonio Conte seeing the Argentine as an ideal replacement for PSG-bound Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
However, the dynamics have shifted, and Garnacho’s relationship with Manchester United has reportedly soured to the point of no return, and Fabrizio Romano suggests the Red Devils are open to offloading him.
With Osimhen’s €75 million windfall on the way, Napoli are back in the hunt. Manchester United still want around €71 million, but that number could dip with pressure mounting from Garnacho’s camp.
The 20-year-old bagged 11 goals and 10 assists across 58 appearances this season, and while other clubs like Bayer Leverkusen and Premier League rivals are circling, Napoli now have both the funds and the motivation to pounce.
