Former Manchester United and Ajax goalkeeper, Edwin van der Sar, has been hospitalized after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. 

The Dutchman, who recently stepped down as Ajax's chief executive, is currently in the intensive care unit but is reported to be in stable condition.

Ajax, the club where Van der Sar made a significant impact both on and off the pitch, expressed their support and well wishes for the footballing legend.
