Ademola Lookman made the starting lineup for Atlanta after his impressive performance against Empoli last Sunday.

Atalanta started the game brightly and created a lot of chances in the first half but failed to open the scoring.

Entering into the second half, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side looked distorted, with Venezia stopping every chance created.

Towards the end of the game, Lookman got the chance to get his team in front after a corner kick was headed towards his path. He only had to put the ball into the net, but instead booted the ball over the bar.

The miss seemed costly for Atalanta after the final whistle, with the game ending in a 0-0 draw, and failed to go joint top with Inter Milan.
