Liverpool reduce fee for Nunez

Liverpool are demanding €60 million from Italian clubs interested in Darwin Nunez, according to Corriere dello Sport, via Sportal.

Atletico Madrid and Al-Hilal are also reportedly interested in Nunez. The Daily Mail previously reported that Liverpool were hoping for £70 million from the Saudi Arabian club. However, this price is likely too high for the Italian sides.

Liverpool are close to finalising deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez but are also looking to offload players deemed surplus to requirements by manager Arne Slot as quickly as possible and for the best possible price.

The Merseyside club are expected to bring in another striker, but Nunez's departure is likely to precede any new arrivals.
