Chelsea were honoured with three award winners at the London Football awards after several impressive performances from male and female Blues stars

The 2024 London Football Awards turned out to be a memorable evening for Chelsea Football Club, with their players scooping major honours and showcasing the immense talent within the club. 

The ceremony, held at the Roundhouse in Camden, saw Chelsea's stars shine brightly, underscoring their impact on London's football scene this season.

Cole Palmer: Young Player of the Year

Cole Palmer's transition from Manchester City to Chelsea has been nothing short of phenomenal. The forward's impressive performance this season earned him the Young Player of the Year award, a testament to his significant contribution to Chelsea's campaign. 

Scoring 14 goals across all competitions, including 10 in the Premier League, Palmer has been a revelation for the Blues. His achievements were further highlighted by his senior international debut for England, marking a year of notable milestones for the 21-year-old.

Lauren James: Women's Player of the Year

Lauren James continues to establish herself as one of the leading figures in women's football, clinching the Women's Player of the Year award. 

Following her standout performances at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, James has maintained her exceptional form, leading the WSL champions' attack with 12 goals in 13 games. Her ability to consistently deliver top-notch performances has been pivotal for Chelsea, who are competing on multiple fronts this season.

Aggie Beever-Jones: Young Women's Player of the Year

Emerging talent Aggie Beever-Jones also left her mark at the awards, winning the Young Player of the Year accolade. Beever-Jones' breakthrough season has been remarkable, with seven goals to her name and a notable Barclays November Player of the Month award. 

Her goal-scoring prowess, highlighted by a five-goal streak in five matches, has made her one of the most promising talents in women's football.
