Kenyan midfield maestro Alwyn Luheni Tera and striker Elvis Rupia made headlines for their respective clubs across the Armenian and Tanzanian leagues.

On Wednesday, both players found the back of the net in crucial matches that ended in 1-1 draws.

Alwyn Tera

Alwyn Tera, playing for Ararat Armenia alongside compatriot Amos Nondi, featured in a tightly contested match against West Armenia.

Tera, who has been a consistent performer in the midfield, scored Ararat’s only goal before being substituted in the 64th minute.

His teammate Nondi taking on the role of right-back demonstrated his versatility and stamina by playing the entire game.

The draw left Ararat Armenia in third place in the Armenian League with 46 points.

Elvis Rupia

Meanwhile, in the Tanzania Premier League, Elvis Rupia continued his scoring spree for Ihefu, netting a goal in their 1-1 draw against Mashujaa.

Rupia's goal was vital in securing a point for his team, highlighting his importance to the squad.

The match also featured notable performances from fellow Kenyans Duke Abuya and Joash Onyango, with the latter wearing the captain's armband.

Ihefu now sits at 11th in the league standings with 20 points, looking forward to their upcoming home game against Kinondoni KMC on Tuesday evening.

Eric Johana

Elsewhere, Kenya international Eric Johana was in action for Uta Arad in the Romanian League, despite a challenging match that ended in a 4-1 defeat against FC Rapid Bucuresti.
