KCCA FC head coach Sergio Traguil has named his team to face Libya’s Abu Salim in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.
The Kasasiro Boys will face off with Abu Salim in the first leg of the second preliminary round on Sunday, September 17, at the Stade Olympique de Rades in Tunisia.
The 20-player squad named features some of Traguil’s new signings and seasoned campaigners who were at the club’s last appearance on the continent.

Among players expected to light up the league are youngsters looking to leave a mark and establish themselves in Ugandan football circles.
Youngsters Anthony Emojong and Abubakar Mayanja, promoted from the club academy, are in the squad and will be looking to make their debut on the big stage.
Ettiene Katenga, Joao Gabriel, Bruno Adilson, Emilson Gonzaga and Cungulo Da Silva Gui have all been selected by Traguil to make the trip.

It is worth noting that Tinga departs without having made an official appearance for the Kitende side, apart from participating in an international friendly against AS Kigali at Kitende over a month ago.
KCCA received a bye from CAF and did not feature in the first preliminary round due to their past performances in CAF competitions in 2017 and 2018.
The club will depart for Tunisia on Thursday evening aboard Fly Emirates.
